1.11b5 is an indev build of the Aether II mod, with changes covering the month of August 2017. Changes include functionality for Icestone Coolers, Swet Jelly changes, new textures, Edison fixes, and new visual block variants among other changes including lots of fixes.

- Woven Skyroot Sticks can now be crafted into Skyroot Sticks
- Icestone Brick now has visual variants

- Icestone Cooler now has partial functionality, 'cools' Irridated Items into random items of certain types but the cooling process has bugs
- Burrukai and Taegore no longer attack players in creative mode
- Swet Jelly now longer grows grass on Coarse Aether Dirt
- Swet Sugar now works in crafting recipes
- Icestone Stairs now use Icestone Bricks
- Carrion Sprouts no longer are leashable
- Saplings have new textures

- Scatterglass slabs now render as transparent
- Skyroot Sticks now render as tools in hand
- Holystone tool harvest levels fixed
- Aether Leaves now extend BlockLeaves
