The Ancient Vault Update is an upcoming major update for the Aether II mod. It will focus primarily on the addition of the eponymous update's grand-dungeon and will act as the Highlands Update's main dungeon.[1]

General[ | ]
- The Highlands' first major dungeon, named the Ancient Vault
- Will be based off of the original Bronze Dungeon concept and the Slider's Labyrinth concept [2][3]
- It is not related to the Slider's Labyrinth, lore wise, however
- Only accessible after completing the content contained within the Highlands Update[4]
- The dungeon is approached more in a stealth-sense[5]
- The dungeon will have an actual vault containing rewards after defeating its boss[6]
- Completing the dungeon will eventually grant access to the Wildgrowth continent[7]
Lore[ | ]
- The vaults were used to store dangerous and illegal technologies[8]
- The Sliders are built to protect said vaults[9][10]
