Obtaining[edit | edit source]
Flowers can be broken using any tools and will always drop themselves.
Natural generation[edit | edit source]
Flowers generate naturally on Aether Dirt and Aether Grass blocks. They spawn in all biomes, but different flowers spawn in different biomes.
Swet Gel[edit | edit source]
When any type of Swet Gel is used on an Aether Grass block, it has a chance to spawn Tall Aether Grass and Flowers in a 15 by 15 area around the block it was used on.
Flower biomes[edit | edit source]
This table shows the types of flowers that can naturally generate in each Biome, as well as the types that can spawn from Swet Gel.

History[edit | edit source]
Aether II: Highlands Alpha | |
---|---|
Initial release | White Rose and Purple Flower introduced. |
White Roses are naturally occurring Plants found in the Aether.
Obtaining[edit | edit source]
White Roses can be instantly broken with any item or tool. White Roses will also be broken if water is poured over them or a Piston extends into their occupying space or pushes a block into them.
Natural generation[edit | edit source]
White Roses naturally generate on Aether Grass blocks, and lack of light will not displace them unlike Mushrooms. Far more of them generate than Purple Flowers.
Bone Meal[edit | edit source]
If Bone Meal is used on an Aether Grass block, vegetation has a chance to spawn instead of tall grass up to seven blocks away. White Roses are 70% chance, Berry Bush Stems are 40% chance, Purple Flowers and Berry Bushes are 20% chance, and Orange Trees are 10% chance.
Usage[edit | edit source]
They are purely aesthetic, but will have crafting purposes in the future.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- In the original The Aether mod, the White Rose item was named White Flower.
- The Book of Lore description is misleading as they can't be used to craft dye, even in the original Aether mod.
