Natural generation[ | ]

Skyroot Chests naturally generate as a part of some structures in the Aether.

Usage[ | ]

Chest gui

A single Chest's GUI

Skyroot Chests' main function is to store items. They can be opened by right-clicking the block, unless an opaque block is above it. Large Skyroot Chests can be created by placing one chest next to another one.

Container[ | ]

A regular Skyroot Chest has 27 slots, and therefore can store up to 27 stacks of items or blocks (1728 total). Large Skyroot Chests have 54 slots and can hold up to 3456 items or blocks. The top three rows of the chest correspond to the eastern or northern chest block while the bottom three correspond to the southern or western chest block.

When a Skyroot Chest is destroyed, it will drop all of its contents where the chest was destroyed. If one half of a Large Skyroot Chest is destroyed, the corresponding items from the destroyed block will be dropped and the remaining items are stored in the other Skyroot Chest.
