Spawning
They are only found in the cave systems and will never spawn anywhere on the surface.
Behavior
Infects slowness on you for 1 second, so escaping might be difficult.
Trivia
- On July 16th , 2018, a sketch of the Varanys was released as the first public view of the mob, also quoting that it would be a hostile mob exclusive to the Arctic Peaks. A few weeks later, on July 30, 2018, another photo was revealed showcasing the model for the Varanys. But when the Varanys was released in beta 0.1.1, the model looked completely different, it is unknown why they changed it.
